Verb-Morphology in Middle Indo-Aryan is a comprehensive study of the development of Prakrit languages, namely Pali, Ardhamagadhi, dramatic Prakrits like Sauraseni, Maharastri, Jain Prakrits like Jain Sauraseni and Jain Maharastri and Apabhramsa. ABOUT THE AUTHOR Ravi Prakash

Dr. Ravi Prakash was born in May 1940, in Allahabad, where he specialized in Samskrit and Prakrit. Later he carried his research on Prakrit languages in Deccan College, Poona under the supervision of Dr. A.M. Ghatage. Now Dr. Prakash is deeply engaged in the Contrastive analysis of Hindi and Naga languages.
