ABOUT THE AUTHOR Shakuntla Gupta

Dr. Shakuntla Gupta is a seasoned teacher and researcher. Currently she is a Reader in the Dept. of Economics, Punjabi University, Patiala. A prolific writer, Dr. (Ms) Gupta has written many research papers and authored some outstanding books, including Marketing of Agricultural Products (1996), and Growth and Acreage Response Behaviour (2000). Her areas of interest are agricultural economics and agricultural marketing.
