ABOUT THE AUTHOR Dhanlaxmi Dash

Dhanlaxmi Dash obtained her B.Sc. (Hons.) and M.Sc. (Zoology) degrees from Utkal University, Bhubaneswar and M.Phil. from Berhampur University, Berhampur. She joined as Lecturer to Life Science in Regional Institute of Education (NCERT), Bhubaneswar in 1985. Subsequently she got diploma in Nutrition and Health Education from IGNOU and worked in the area of Environmental and Health Education and obtained Ph.D. in the year 2000 from Utkal University as well. She was promoted to the post of Reader in the year 2000. She has published a good number of papers in reputed journals. Besides environmental and health education, her area of interest women education, sustainable development and educational innovations in the country.
