ABOUT THE AUTHOR Purna Chandra Jena

PURNA CHANDRA JENA is a Social Activist. He is associated with a number of Social Action Groups and Movements in the country, while organizing Traditional Marine Fisher Folk, Dalits, Adivasis and Unorganised Workers, particularly in Orissa and Chattisgarh. His rich experience with people enabled him to write a number of theological reflections on issues that affect the common people, their struggles, hopes and aspirations for a better life and society. Since 2002, he is with NCCI engaged in a programme on Local Congregations Empowerment, within the Member Churches of NCCI.
