Planning the time-table is a necessary tool for the efficient working of a school. It ensures regular and even progress by preventing laxity. Habits of orderliness, regularity and steadiness can be firmed. A time-table in short is a second school clock. Construction of a time-table is interesting though time absorbing task. Fatique is another factor to be carefully borne in mind in the construction of time -table. Now the question that naturally arises is that who should be responsible for the arrangement and the school administration. The teacher may do all the planning and executing, the pupils are told to these or the teacher and pupils may together work out the details and handle the situation.
