The Present work, a result of extensive research done by the authors and other research workers and recognizes the need for management and prevention of pre and post partum "Reproductive Disorders of Livestock". This compendium consists of lectures delivered by the experts during the ICAR sponsored winter school conducted by the Department of Animal Reproduction, Gynecology and Obstetrics, veterinary College, KVAFSU, Nandinagar, Bidar 585401freom 1-10-2004 to 21-10-2005. The compendium has 21 chapters grounded unde4r 6 sections i.e. pregneancy physiology and parturition, pre-partum reproductive disorders, peri-parturient reproductive disorders, postpartum reproductive disorders, prevention of abortion and fertility augmentation along with reproductive tract surgeries. The book is primarily meant to be a compendium for veterinarians, students, research scientists and teachers of veterinary science.
