Now a days maintaining the healthy environment on the surface of the earth has been essential. The scientist has evaluated various methods and now it has been possible to manage the environmental pollution. In this context the present volume includes the recent technologies for the management of environment in different directions. The volume "Sustainable Environmental Management’ consists of 30 review articles on different aspects of environmental studies by well-known international scientists, which also provide guidelines to pathologists, microbiologists, biotechnologists and other scientists for sustainable environment on this globe. This volume is published in the honour of Dr. Jayashree Deshpande who has continuously worked for the management of environment.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR V.C. Khilare
Dr. V.C. Khilare is lecturer in P.G. department of Botany, Vasantrao Nail Mahavidyala, Aurangabad. He did his M.Sc.and Ph.D. from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad. His area of research is biocontrol of plant pathogens, fungicide resistance in plant pathogens and rhizosphere pathology. He has participated in more than 30 national and international conference in India. He is research guide and four students are working under his guidance. He has published more than 30 research papers in national and internationally journals in the field of plant Pathology, pesticides, biofertilizers, microbial physiology and rhizosphere pathology. Dr. Khilare is life member of many professional bodies. He has edited two books namely 'Seed technology' and 'Integrated Disease Management of crop Plants'. He was recipient of 'Tilak Award', 'Deshpande Award' for Dominion First at M.Sc., P.R. Verma Award by SMPP, Udaipur for his excellent work in management of fungicide resistance and application of biopesticides. He was 'Councillor’ of Indian Phytopathological Society (WZ). Recently UGC, New Delhi sanctioned the major research project on ‘Biocontrol of Plant Pathogens' to him.
