Rajendra K Jain of European Studies and Director, Europe Area Studies Programme, Centre for European Studies, School of International Studies, Jawaharlal University, new Delhi. He was Network Coordinator of the JNU European Union Studies Programme (financed by the European Commission) (2002-2004). He was formerly Alexander von Humboldt Foundation Fellow at the University of Constance and Visiting fellow at the School of Slavonic and East European Studies, University of London and the Foundation of Science and Politics, Germany. He has been Visiting Professor at the universities of Leipzig and Tuebingen and Maison des Sciences de I’Homme, Paris. He has published nearly sixty journal articles an is the author/editor of over twenty books, including India and the European Union in the 21st Century and the European Union in a Changing World.

Dr. Yogendra K. Sharma, M.A., Ph.D. Reader and Head of P.G. ad Research Department of Military Studies since 1962 at P.P.N. (P.G) College, Kanpur. His Ph.D. Thesis captioned Diplomacy and War Technique was well received by the scholars of the subject. He has written eight books on various aspects of the subject. The founder President of Indian Association of Defence Analysts (India), Chief Editor of ‘Suraksha’-A journal of security studies, Dr, Sharma organized several National seminars on various aspects of national security.
