ABOUT THE AUTHOR Mahesh V. Mudhol

Dr. Mahesh V. Mudhol (b.1954) completed his doctorate in LIS from Sambalpur University (Orissa). He has served as Librarian at N.I.O (CSIR). DMA-Panla, Goa and Documentalist at ISEC, Bangalore. Currently, he is with Department of Library and Information Science, Mangalore University, as Senior Lecturer. He is life member of ILA and IASLIC. He has about thirty professional articles and four books in LIS to his credit.

Sooryanarayana P.S. (b. 1976) did his B.Sc. , and secured First Class with distinction from Vivekananda College, Puttur in the year1977. Further, he did M.L.I. Sc. from Mangalore University with distinction in the year 1999. Now he is doing research in the field of Library and Information Science.
